About the role:
The Warehouse, Shipping, and LMW Officer is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the warehouse, managing shipping activities, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations for the Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW). This role combines inventory management, logistics coordination, and regulatory compliance to support the seamless flow of goods within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management:
- Received incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and record receipt of goods.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
- Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Organize warehouse space to optimize space utilization and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management of stock replenishment needs.
Shipping Coordination:
- Generate packing lists and perform transactions in inventory systems to maintain accuracy.
- Prepare and ship orders according to workflow schedules.
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor the continuous flow of distribution to customers.
- Handle incoming shipments, verify inventory, and maintain records.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams and customer service representative to provide excellent service.
LMW Compliance:
- Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within the LMW.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Coordinate with customs authorities for inspections and audits.
- Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to customs authorities.
- Implement and maintain warehouse safety and security protocols.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff on LMW procedures and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management, shipping coordination, and LMW operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics software.
- Familiarity with customs regulations and compliance requirement.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
