
IT Project Coordinator
The Project Coordinator will assist the Technical Department in planning, executing, and finalizing projects within strict timelines and budgets. This role involves coordinating the efforts of team members, as well as third-party contractors or consultants, to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The Project Coordinator will also contribute to defining project objectives and will oversee quality control throughout the project's lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Support the creation of project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain thorough project documentation.
- Prepare project status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Track project performance to evaluate the achievement of both short and long-term goals.
Communication:
- Serve as the main point of contact, providing project updates to all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Ensure timely communication of project progress and issues to stakeholders.
Resource Management:
- Assist in task assignment and schedule management for internal teams.
- Monitor project resource allocation and manage resource usage.
Risk Management:
- Identify and address potential project risks and issues.
- Assist in implementing mitigating actions and ensure follow-up.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure project standards and requirements are met.
Financial Management:
- Support the budgeting process and monitor project expenses to stay within financial limits.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistance as needed.
- Organize and maintain project files and databases.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years in project coordination or a similar role. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Skills:
- Experience in the IT or Telco industry is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana) is an advantage.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Additional Details:
- Salary Range: Up to RM4,000.00
- Location: Damansara Utama, Selangor
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM
