Our client is seeking for a Senior Tax to join their company!
Job Responsibilities:
- We seek self-motivated and passionate individuals with tax experience to join our dynamic and fast-growing practice
- You will be exposed to a variety of industries and our clientele includes MNCs and listed companies
- Regular in-house training will be provided, and we are committed to capability building through support from our national technical department and structured development
- Promotion prospects are excellent
- Provide expert tax advice to clients on various tax matters, including corporate tax, personal tax, indirect tax and international tax issues
- Keep up to date with the latest Inland Revenue Board (IRB) guidelines and regulations and industry best practices to ensure the work is carried out in compliance with regulatory standards and firm’s quality control policies and procedures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, provide tailored tax solutions and ensure exceptional client service
- Passionate about providing advisory and value-added services to client portfolio
- Team with tax professionals in other sub-service lines to provide comprehensive tax services
- Contribute to the management of a compliance group by helping to forecast future compliance tasks, effectively delegating responsibilities and addressing any related issues
- Exchange knowledge to promote professional growth and improve service delivery
- Encourage open communication while overseeing staff and peers
- Foster a flexible, stable and collaborative team-oriented work environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance and/or professional qualification in accounting
- A member of a recognized professional accounting body / taxation body will be an added advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Strong knowledge of income tax laws, SST regulations, and other relevant tax orders
- Proven ability of managing complex and sizable assignments
- Proficiency in tax software.
- Excellent management and problem-solving skills with leadership ability
- Good interpersonal skills, self motivated, and possess high integrity
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and advisory services.
- Analytical, possess high integrity, self-motivated, organized and able to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision.
