Senior Clerk, Accounts Payable

  • Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records in accordance with accounting standards and company’s SOP
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Communicate with business requester and vendors to resolve any issues related to payments or invoices
  • Manage the accounts payable email inbox and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including reconciliations and accruals
  • Monitor accounts payable aging reports and ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices and ensure all open / overdue items (accruals, standing advance payments, etc.) are being attended to and resolved in a timely manner
  • Prepare all invoices for appropriate documentation and execute payment runs in accordance with Company policy
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable
  • Provide support for other accounting and finance functions or any ad-hoc tasks as require

Able to be started on March 2025.

Requirements:

  • Post Graduate Certificate / Diploma​, specialised in Economics / Finance/ Accounting or equivalent qualification
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in Finance, especially in the relevant processes, preferably from a Shared Services.
  • Good knowledge of Oracle/ERP system and good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage high volume workload in fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM2,200.00 per month
