Central Functions support the board as well as the business in achieving its strategic objectives. These are, for example, Information Technology, Human Resources, Logistics, Compliance, Finance and many more.

Position summary:

  • Responsible for global (Pen&Wuxi) chip planning to meet operational requirement at optimum inventory level.
  • Responsible for shipment monitoring to ensure timely delivery of chips in order to meet production schedule.
  • Responsible for wafers assignment for both Pen and Wuxi plant‘s loading.
  • Responsible for preparing month end reports & analysis.
  • Responsible for inventory management to meet company objectives.
  • Responsible for planning enhancement & improvement activities to improve productive.

A. Demand management

  • Prepare MRP in order to calculate the forecasted requirements & to determine the order quantity.
  • Prepare & provide rolling forecast to suppliers to ensure sufficient leadtime to support our requirement.
  • To raise purchase Order (PO) to purchase for needed materials and route for approval.
  • Support Change management by preparing & coordinating a phase in/ phase out plan, & inform all parties involved till material is successfully phased in.
  • Ensure sufficient new chips being purchased to support phase in without impacting production schedule or phase in timeline.
  • Support planning improvement activities to ensure better productivity with timely manner.

B. Chip allocation and delivery fulfillment

  • Review stock and perform chip allocation between Pen, Wuxi and subcon.
  • Optimize chip usage via IPDS4ALL for in house DB fulfillment & external MTO chip sale.
  • Determine bin and quantity replenishment per ideal on-hand stock distribution.
  • Create DN for outgoing shipment.
  • To obtain delivery commitment from suppliers. Practice pull in, push out and cancellation depanding on demand situation to ensure no supply shortage and no excessive stock based on componay target.
  • Work with FE chip planners & 3rd party suppliers on chip delivery improvement.
  • To escalate to purchasing and manager in case of any late delivery or short shipment that potentially cause line down.
  • To trigger early warning to supply planner in case of insufficient chips, and continue with pull in activities.

C. Inventory management

  • Prepare monthly inventory projection according to model set & to be used as guideline to manage inventory level in order to meet company target.
  • Monitor block and aging stocks & update stakeholder from time to time to ensure proper action/treatment are taken.
  • Review dormant and unusable inventory and propose salvaging activities with justification form

D. Operation issue

  • Prepare monthly inventory reconciliation report.
  • Constantly review chip receiving trend to ensure the supply are meeting customer request.
  • BOM maintenance with all alternative chip type, usage probability and component scrap.
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • At least 3-5 years of working experience in Supply Chain Management planning. Preferable with SAP knowledge.
  • Experience in material planning, Microsoft Office tool, SAP.
  • Able to rationalize and relates each objectives and assigned task with individual performance.
  • Understands short and long term individual and own business areas direction.
  • Strong analytical skill, well-developed interpersonal & communication.
  • Get to know each other closely especially within own business area.
  • To understand individual differences in their behaviours, values and attributes.
