Senior Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Group Finance team to manage the accounting, tax, and treasury functions for local subsidiaries.
• Oversee the maintenance of fixed assets, share registers, loan documentation, and property registers.
• Prepare monthly audit schedules and reconciliation reports to ensure accurate financial records.
• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring timely and accurate maintenance of accounting records.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, cash flow statements, forecasts, and budgets.
• Support Year-End Audits and tax filing processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Deliver monthly financial reports, cash flow analyses, and management reports in a timely manner.
• Aid in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgeting processes.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with local and statutory requirements.
• Administer the Finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and policies, as well as office administration duties.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance or Accountancy.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience in the retail industry.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present analytical results clearly to management.
• High integrity and a strong commitment to good governance practices.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, hands-on, and able to work independently with strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (both written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
