  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a Professional Certificate equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of management experience in corporate finance (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with global teams and partners.
  • Ability to work outside of scheduled hours as this position reports directly to the Director of Global Shared Services in the US.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, specifically Oracle E-Business Suite, is preferred.

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the newly established US GAAP Shared Services team.
  • Oversee and complete the budgeting and forecasting requirements for the Corporate Shared Services entity in Malaysia.
  • Assist in transferring work from other global locations to the US GAAP Shared Services team, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Manage and guide the team through the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable global policies, including the Coherent Controllers Manual.
  • Provide support to global Operations Controllers, offering reporting and analysis when needed.
  • Lead and manage special projects as assigned by Corporate Shared Services leadership.
  • Foster team engagement and ensure that performance standards are consistently met.

Pay: Up to RM20,000.00 per month
