Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process sales and purchase orders accurately in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to verify and confirm order details.
- Maintain a systematic and organized filing system for all administrative and financial records, including orders, invoices, and MPOB documents.
- Retrieve documents as needed for audits, reviews, or reference.
- Regularly update and manage records required by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB).
- Ensure compliance with MPOB regulations by preparing and submitting accurate reports as required.
- Accurately key in data into the accounting or ERP system, including sales/purchase orders and invoices.
- Ensure timely and precise recording of transactions to support financial reporting.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices against sales and purchase orders, delivery notes, and other supporting documents.
- Track and manage incoming and outgoing invoices to ensure all records are accounted for.
- Prepare and update weekly or monthly reports for management review.
Requirements:
- A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) and other MS Office applications.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
