Job Responsibilities :

Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, and timelines
  • Create detailed work breakdowns and activity sequences to achieve project objectives
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams with the right mix of skills and expertise
  • Document all project components thoroughly through formal project charters and plans
  • Identify potential risks, constraints, and dependencies early in the planning process
  • Monitor project progress against established benchmarks and adjust plans as needed
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards through rigorous quality assurance processes
  • Compile and present regular performance reports to leadership and stakeholders

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Assess potential impacts of projects on beneficiaries, team members, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across the organization to gather comprehensive requirements
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, or resources through established change control procedures
  • Build strong working relationships with infrastructure teams across all business units and management levels
  • Identify and address sources of conflict or disagreement among team members or stakeholders
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and achievements clearly to diverse audiences

Problem Solving & Risk Management

  • Systematically capture, prioritize, and resolve project issues as they arise
  • Analyze the root causes of problems and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Maintain a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Uphold high ethical and professional standards in all project activities and decisions
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standard operating procedures and best practices
  • Follow and respect the work SOPs that have been practiced in the company throughout the work.
  • Carry out other work deemed reasonable under this contract.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience managing infrastructure projects in the development or non-profit sector
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Strong technical understanding of infrastructure development processes
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in risk assessment and problem-solving in resource-constrained environments
  • Experience working in developing regions or challenging environments
  • Knowledge of international development standards and practices
  • Familiarity with donor reporting requirements and compliance frameworks
  • Multilingual capabilities relevant to our operational regions

Working Conditions
