Who will you be working for:

Our client is a prominent German MNC located in the Bayan Lepas FIZ. They are rapidly expanding and are looking for great talent to join their organization.

What will you be doing:

  • Responsible for SMT Production and Supporting IC Programing and PCBA rework activities.
  • Utilization performance
  • Internal Defect Cost
  • Cost Per Placement
  • Quick Changeover
  • Materials inventory accuracy
  • On-Time Delivery
  • Operator Defect Escapee
  • Lead and drive Daily Operation Meeting.
  • Monitor and achieve Daily SMT loading based on Planned schedule. Head count planning for each shift to maximize output.
  • Leading 5S and Continuous Improvement activities in Manufacturing Department.
  • Develop and track monitoring systems relevant to the Manufacturing Operations. Lead products quality, on time delivery and cost-reduction activities. Ensure goals are clear to all Manufacturing staffs and continuous improvement is being achieved.
  • Identify operational resource requirements to meet the needs of Production and customer/product requirement.
  • Develop and motivate Production Team members to perform their full potential, providing direction and timely feedback for the benefit of Production function. Create positive working environment and instill healthy teamwork.
  • Create an environment that is culturally embedded in a “Quality First” mentality.
  • Work with all levels of the organization to improve quality, delivery, and cost reduction activities to meet the set KPI in Manufacturing Department.
  • Instill a continuous improvement mentality in SMT Production. Foster good morale, a proactive and positive culture.
  • Coach and train Shift Supervisors, Leaders, SMED team and Operators.
  • Evaluate staff performance with goal setting in line with department goal.
  • Lead, drive and coordinate for any line audit preparation.
  • Any other related duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time

What you will need to suceed:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operation/Production/Engineering/Quality or related field
  • At least 5-10 years working of experience in SMT Process and preferable to have practical experience in SAP knowledge
  • PFMEA, Quality and product knowledge
  • Good in English communication and written skill
  • Leading a large group of operation with >150 headcounts
  • Lean Manufacturing Concept
  • 8-D methodology, Drill deeps skill sets for problem solvingexcel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bayan Lepas: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • SMT production: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Malaysian Blue IC (Required)
