  • Inventory Management:Monitoring stock levels to identify when to reorder products and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Vendor Management:Identifying and researching potential suppliers, obtaining quotes, and establishing relationships with vendors to negotiate prices and delivery terms.
  • Purchase Order Processing:Creating and issuing purchase orders to vendors based on company requirements and inventory needs.
  • Order Tracking:Monitoring the status of purchase orders, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, delivery dates, and supplier details.
  • Market Research:Conducting market analysis to identify new suppliers, compare prices, and stay updated on industry trends
  • Cost Analysis:Analyzing purchase costs, identifying potential cost savings, and negotiating better deals with suppliers
  • Communication:Liaising with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and communicating with vendors regarding order details and any issues
  • Reporting:Preparing reports on purchasing activities, including spending analysis and vendor performance metrics
