Electronics Repair Specialist
Job Summary:
The Electronics Repair Supervisor is expected to join our Repair Facility located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to manage the repair of the most common industrial types of electronic, electrical equipment and controls. He will assist in developing new or updated electronic systems, components, or products.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Take leadership of the repair technicians, understand business priorities and distribute tasks accordingly to his team. Supervise throughout the diagnosis and repair process delivering on schedule quality services.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Repairs, installs, and inspects electrical or electronic systems as directed through diagrams, drawings, or specifications.
· Determines material or replacement needs and a logical method for repair; takes appropriate action to meet those needs and makes repairs.
· Ensures local, state, and national electrical codes are followed and proper materials are used throughout electrical systems.
· Manages and installs cables and wiring.
· Performs safety checks to ensure design plans are feasible in various conditions.
· Analyses potentially dangerous electrical equipment and takes steps to resolve the issue.
· Instructs employees regarding safe working procedures and requirements when working with electronic equipment and components.
· Develops and maintains records related to electronic and electrical equipment.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Thorough understanding of electronics principles and design.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Detail-oriented and organized.
· Excellent problem-solving ability.
· Ability to follow highly complex directions.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience:
· Associates degree in Electronics required.
· Electronic certification or comparable certification or licensure desired.
· Proven solid experience in carrying out electronics repairs at PCB components level on VFD, UPS, PLC, HMI, Control systems, Vibration Monitoring and Fire and gas systems of the most common brands in the industry (Siemens, Schneider, ABB, GE, Alstom, Woodward).
· Knowledge in PLC and HMI programming.
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
