We are looking for a dynamic and creative person to join our team.
Job Summary
- Responsible for overseeing and optimizing the_ logistics operations within the company, ensuring efficient coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, inventory management, and finished goods delivery_. This role requires close collaboration with internal departments, external suppliers, and logistics partners to maintain smooth operations, cost efficiency, and timely deliveries.
- Must have experience working in Manufacturing company.
You will play an important role in:-
1. Logistics & Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, and distribution.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the transportation of finished goods while optimizing cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams to streamline operations.
- Monitor and improve warehouse utilization, stock accuracy, and storage solutions.
- Ensure on-time delivery of finished products to customers while optimizing cost efficiency.
- Work closely with logistics service providers and evaluate their performance.
2. Warehouse & Inventory Control
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock availability while minimizing excess stock.
- Monitor warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage, handling, and dispatch of goods.
- Implement best practices for inventory accuracy and stock movement tracking.
- To perform FIFO for raw materials and Finished Goods.
- Ensure GRN transactions within 48 working hours.
3. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics expenses.
- Oversee proper documentation for import/export processes and liaise with customs authorities when necessary.
4. Customer & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Production, Procurement) to align logistics plans with business needs.
- Serve as the main point of contact for logistics-related inquiries and issue resolutions.
- Support customer service in resolving delivery-related concerns.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:-
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, warehouse operations, and transportation management.
- Familiarity with customs regulations, import/export documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Experience in handling international logistics and customs clearance.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
