Basic Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Furniture Design, Industrial Design or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in sales and/or design within the furniture or cabinetry industry, Industrial Design or Interior Design.
- A portfolio showcasing previous design projects (preferred, but not required).
- Familiarity with materials, finishes, and current design trends in the furniture and cabinetry industry.

Skills:
- Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, rendering tools, etc.).
- Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills in Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to understand and interpret customer needs and turn them into design solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Excellent Organizational and Project Management Skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibility
- Design consultation: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and design preferences for custom furniture and cabinetry projects.
- Product knowledge: Provide expert advice on design options, materials, finishes, and layouts for various projects, including kitchens, wardrobes, living rooms, and office spaces.
- Sales and client relations: Drive sales by building relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their requirements, and delivering tailored design solutions.
- Prepare proposals and quotes: Create detailed design proposals, including pricing, materials, and timelines, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Collaborate with production teams: Work with the production and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are translated accurately and efficiently into finished products.
- Project management: Oversee the progress of projects from design concept to installation, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
- Attend trade shows and events: Represent the company at industry events, showcasing our design solutions and expanding our network of potential clients.
