We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Assistant Brand Manager to join our team in Malaysia. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our marketing initiatives through active collaboration with food service partners, efficient project management, and impactful sampling and sponsorship activations. Key Responsibilities:
Food Service Marketing Proposals and Activations (50%)
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored marketing proposals for food service partners.
- Plan and execute activation campaigns that align with partner objectives and brand goals.
- Negotiate terms and agreements with food service partners to ensure win-win collaborations.
- Track and report the performance of food service marketing initiatives, providing actionable insights for optimization.
Sampling and Sponsorship Activations (50%)
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end sampling initiatives to drive brand awareness and trial.
- Identify and negotiate sponsorship opportunities that align with brand strategy and target audience.
- Oversee the logistics and execution of on-ground and digital activations, ensuring flawless delivery.
- Analyze the impact of sampling and sponsorship activities, sharing results and learnings with stakeholders.
Project and Stakeholder Management
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring timely execution of all activities
- Work closely with internal teams, agencies, and external partners to achieve project goals.
- Proactively address challenges and provide solutions to ensure successful outcomes
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Marketing, Activation, or a related field. Experience in FMCG or food service is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project management capabilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in analyzing data and drawing actionable insights.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia
