Safety Officer
What you’ll be doing:
Safety Training & Briefings – Lead engaging safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions to ensure every worker understands and follows safety protocols.
Compliance & Documentation – Keep safety records up to date, submit reports, and ensure strict adherence to national, local, and company regulations.
Site Safety Inspections – Conduct regular site audits, spot hazards early, and enforce immediate corrective actions.
Risk Assessment & Hazard Control – Identify potential risks, implement proactive measures, and maintain a safe work environment.
Incident Management & Reporting – Investigate accidents, document findings, and drive continuous safety improvements.
PPE & Safety Equipment Management – Ensure proper distribution, use, and maintenance of PPE and safety gear.
Coordination & Communication – Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and authorities to maintain the highest safety standards.
Reporting – Keep leadership informed by reporting directly to the Chief Engineer on all safety matters.
What we are looking for:
Minimum 3 years of experience in construction safety roles.
Certification in safety management (OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent) preferred.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, hazard identification, and emergency response.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and enforce safety measures on-site.
DOSH Green Book and CIDB Green Card holder preferred.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
