Role Description

This full-time, on-site position in Bukit Minyak involves managing the Quality Assurance Department to meet production, delivery, and customer requirements. The QA/QC Executive ensures efficiency, productivity, and employee satisfaction while aligning with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct regular inspections and audits of raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

2. Communicate the policies and procedures effectively to all subordinates and related personnel so that they are able to execute their duties responsibly.

3. Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and process parameters to identify deviations and implement corrective actions in accordance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles.

4. To ensure GMP, HACCP and FSSC procedure is followed and implemented and all documents are recorded and updated.

5. Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data and quality control documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory agencies.

6. Supervise and manage the employee for the factory to OSHA, F&M act and other statutory requirements including certification bodies like HALAL, ISO or HACCP when appropriate.

7. Investigate customer complaints, non-conformances and quality incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence.

8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to address quality issues, optimize processes, and process improvements.

9. Develop and update quality control procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect best practices, regulatory changes, and industry standards.

10. Responsible to ensure that all artworks of packing materials being updated according to regulatory changes.

11. Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation, data analysis, and corrective actions plans as required by regulatory agencies, customers, or third-party certification bodies.

12. Manage training of the related personnel (quality and production team) on quality control procedures, food safety practices, and regulatory compliance requirements to ensure awareness and competency.

13. Handling, collecting and receiving any certificates, licenses hardcopy application from Authority bodies.

14. Attend to the products queries, customer complaints in regards to the Company products within a 24 hours’ time frame.

15. Liaise with external lab on quality testing such as microbial swab, nutritional analysis, microbiological analysis, air quality, water quality and others test required by Company’s standards.

16. Provide guidance on quality assurance and quality control activities.

17. Any ad-hoc task assigned by Head of Department/Management.
