About Position:-
Role: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Selangor(Hybrid)
Experience level: 2 to 15 years

Role:
- Software Engineer develops and maintain AIOps solution for various IT systems, on Prem and/or Cloud environment to ensure optimum performance of the IT operations.
- Work together with other teams to ensure end objectives are met. Stay up to date with AIOps technologies.
- Develops and maintain AIOps solution for various IT systems, on Prem and/or Cloud environment to ensure optimum performance of the IT operations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and Analyze Data Events, Topology, Performance data from various IT systems, both on Premise and Cloud Environments.
- This includes identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies that could indicate issues or opportunities for improvement. Understand how the different data sets correlate with each other.
- Troubleshoot Issues and resolving them as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- This requires a deep understanding of IT systems and the ability to think critically and creatively to find solutions.
- Understand technical architectures, capacity, tooling needs, existing automation, and new service launch plans.
- Implement Solutions - to improve the overall efficiency and reliability of IT systems.
- This could involve automating processes, optimizing workflows, or deploying new technologies. Write and review code, develop documentation and capacity plans, and debug challenging problems.
- Maintain and improve system performance in production environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve practices and procedures through analytics and technology Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems
- Collaborate with Cross Functional Team - collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- This includes working with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that systems are functioning optimally and meeting business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / related technical field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in software development
- Experience programming in one or more of the following: Scala,Java, Python, Javascripts, Netcool Impact Policy Language ( IPL) which support build in functions and user defined functions. scripts
- 5+ years experience in software troubleshooting and support of IT systems both On Premise and Cloud Environments
Desired Qualifications (Not a Must, But a Plus):
- Experience programming in one or more of the following: Scala ,Java, Python, Javascripts, Netcool Impact Policy Language ( IPL) which support build in functions and user defined functions. scripts
- Excellent knowledge of integration and data collection technologies, e.g. SNMP, File-based, REST API.
- Experience with IT systems data and correlation – Events, Topology, Performance, Trouble Ticketing. Experience with the following specific components IBM AIOPS Event Manager, IBM AIOPS Topology Manager, IBM AIOPS Metric Manager, IBM TNCP, Ivanti ITSM .
- Familiarity with containers, e.g. Red Hat Openshift and high-availability clusters; experience with Docker and Kubernetes a plus
- Experience with analyzing and troubleshooting systems
