- Electrical design skills involving Substation design, Unit engineering, system engineering, procurement assistance to support Lead Engineer and other senior engineers for handling medium to large size projects.
- Responsibility is to design/develop/modify new operational software and automation to support Asia region growth. Other task include requirement gathering, solution design for new system, provide technical support, bug fix, patches and maintenance to existing system.
- Detailed knowledge of PLC automation, SCADA & HMI programming.
- Ready to travel overseas assignments.
- Systematic and confidential information (IP) management.
- Involve in a design of electrical power system covering generation, transmission and distribution in the area of – technical, analysis, design calculations and drawing preparation.
- Perform power system studies (PSS) and apply relevant electrical theory to perform protection relays setting, fault level calculation, CT & VT burden, station DC loading calculation, secondary cable requirements, etc., and to develop and verify the design and report.
- Technical report preparation, technical presentation on system studies report, attend technical meetings on project clarification, design review, and detailed design for project.
- Support project site activities include supervision, testing & commissioning, audit, measurement, etc.
- Design medium and low voltage electrical distribution and generation systems, including preparing for single line diagram, electrical load list, cable sizing, design for lighting and small power, motor starter circuitry, lightning and earthing system etc., for manufacturing factory.
- Design instrumentation and control system including preparing for instrument list based on P&ID, generating instrument datasheet, hook-up drawing, cable schedule, input-output list, and design control system architecture, etc. for automated process plants.
- Lead and ensure that electrical systems meet technical and quality standards.
- Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for process and machine automation control systems.
- Create structured code for control applications and ensure they meet safety standard and operational requirements.
- Develop logic and algorithms for real-time control, including interfacing with servo drives, induction drive, field instruments, etc…..
- Effective and efficient Project management covering Time plan, risk analysis / contingency plan, FAT, SAT, MAI and operation training, corrective action and satisfactory hand over to users.
- Conduct on-site commissioning, testing, and debugging of automation and control systems.
- Prepare proper documentation throughout the entire design and development processes.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, diagnose faults, and perform corrective actions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers, to ensure seamless integration of control systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on automation equipment and provide technical support to end users.
- To support project management team to deliver projects to business user and handle multiple projects delivery.
- Conduct training to user if needed.
- Any other tasks assigned by superior and management.
- Working with international, regional, home base and external stakeholders
- Working as team lead / member on assign projects
- Cross cultural, cross functional and willing to travel

- Over 5-10 years in relevant disciplines and preferably in foreign manufacturing environment
- Fundamental knowledge in industrial medium- and low-voltage electrical systems which include motor and motor controls, electrical protection, distribution and generation, electrical infrastructure design, and familiarity with relevant engineering standards.
- Detailed knowledge of PLC automation ,SCADA & HMI programming
- Strong trouble shooting and analytical skills
- Develop optional solutions
- Critical planning, presentation and training skills
- Confidence communication and interpersonal skills
- Good in written and verbal English
