- To coordinate the planning of factory production technology capabilities, lead equipment selection, tooling fixture development and process design.
- To establish and lead a team of engineers, technicians, and production staffs.
- In charge of new product launch and production changeover management (NPI), collaborating closely with R&D department.
- To monitor and ensure proper mass production ramp-up cycle of new products based on designated workflow and timeline.
- To implement continuous improvements on production lines and overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
- To implement lean manufacturing and cost optimization plans.
- To review PFMEA analysis and SPC to identify the root causes at production sites and develop viable solutions.
- To review engineering documents (such as BOM, drawings, DFM etc.) and ensure accurate data and feasible applications.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as Production Management in Manufacturing / Engineering sector, experience in Automotive industry would be added advantage.
- Knowledge in New Production Line setup and Lean Manufacturing.
