CW Engineer

Job Summary

Our client in Georgetown, Kentucky is looking for a CW Engineer This is a contract position.

What You Will Do

This person will be part of a Paint Electrical Controls team. Responsibilities include creating and confirming electrical control standards, reviewing electrical drawings and supporting project installations.

This includes leading review meetings with related groups, document creation, and supporting the plants in the process. Position will report to the Equipment Planning Engineering Manager.

Basics

  • Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Experience with layout design and equipment installation.
  • Experience identifying project restrictions and identify possible countermeasures.
  • Experience with controls design and controls troubleshooting.
  • Previous experience working with maintenance or robotic background.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • MS Office Suite (Excel for analysis and PowerPoint for reporting and creating presentations).
  • Project Management experience.
  • Experience applying OSHA requirements, machine codes and applicable standards.
  • Must be able to work with minimal direction and previous experience is a must.


Preferred

  • Experience in maintenance or other relevant technical background.
  • Paint production engineering experience.
  • Working knowledge of PLC and other communications equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Model ID, ALC, and other vehicle data systems.
  • Working experience with suppliers and other affiliates on development activities.
