Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage manufacturing operations activities of UCTM.
- In-charge of manpower planning within the production and ensure daily smooth operation of production
- Plan and deploy manpower according to products requirement.
- Ensure production and shipment is on time.
- Ensure high quality standard of product.
- Cross training of employees across product group and process.
- Able to guide and lead the production team to meet OTD.
- Able to lead and resolve day to day line issues.
- Able to initial CIP to improve the line MLT and to improve the productivity.
- Accountable and support 6S and lean activities.
- Able to support ad-hoc activities as assigned by Supervisor.
- Flexibility to work in shift and overtime as necessary to meet production deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing Operation, Business Administration/Management
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI/CSWIP) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience in the welding industry.
- At least 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience with various welding techniques (e.g., TIG, Orbital Welding) and machining processes.
- Strong understanding on cleanroom protocols and compliance standards (e.g., ISO14644-5, GMP).
- Strong understanding of welding and machining procedures, specifications, and standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in welding and manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in using welding and machining equipment and tools.
