What you will do:
- Overall role is to provide sales support and to assist the sales team in achieving sales target via development of sales packages and sales activities.
- To achieve individual sales target by selling advertising needs to advertising agencies and advertisers
- To ensure continuous support from advertising agencies and advertisers by servicing and updating them on latest advertising opportunities.
- To build a larger client base and constantly look for new advertisers.
- To continue educating the advertising agencies and advertisers about the advantages of using Astro as advertising TV medium with frequent sales visits.
- To plan and execute trade communication activities, develop sales/promotional materials to market key sellable programs.
- To deliver impactful sales packages and proposals to drive sales.
- To generate monthly sales review and viewership analysis with key insights to drive sales.
- To review competitors and identify new sales opportunities for market development.
- To roll out research projects and generate insights that help to strengthen Astro's selling proposition.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's Degree graduates / Diploma with related marketing experience preferably in media, public relations, advertising or broadcasting industry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft skills - Word/Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking with good command of English.
- Good negotiation and presentation skills with an aggressive attitude in sales and marketing.
- Possessed strategic thinking in planning, organizing and implementation with problem solving skills
- Good customer service skills and people-oriented person.
- Willing to travel and be mobile.
