About Our Client

Our client is a globally recognised FMCG manufacturing company with a strong regional presence, providing products integral to daily life.

As part of their ongoing business expansion, they are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Director with expertise in S&OP and planning to join their team and drive continued growth.

Job Description

  • Managing Supply Chain Operations: Oversee the S&OP process to ensure production meets the monthly forecast while aligning with stock level targets and production capacity. Includes prioritizing production in case of capacity shortages.
  • Procurement & Production Planning: Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, in compliance with purchasing conditions, stock targets, and quality standards. Plan and schedule production while optimizing for constraints and batch sizes.
  • Sales Forecast & New Product Integration: Manage the sales forecast at the SKU level and ensure the smooth integration of new or modified products into production, considering lead times and stock management.
  • Team Leadership & Process Management: Lead the Procurement, Planning, and Demand Planning teams, ensuring adherence to supply chain processes and procedures, as well as respecting QSHE site rules. Ensure team members are well-trained and informed.
  • KPI Management & Continuous Improvement: Regularly update and manage KPIs with the SC teams and HQ, monitor stocks and inventory, and drive continuous improvement within the team, sharing progress with the HQ.


The Successful Applicant

  • Educational Background: A Diploma or Degree in any business field is required, with preference for APICS certification or related qualifications.
  • Key Skills: Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in material planning, logistics, import/export, and managing supplier relationships.
  • Experience: At least 5-10 years of hands-on experience in supply chain management, preferably in a multinational company within a similar FMCG industry.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Ability to manage and coach teams, especially in procurement and production planning, with strong skills in motivating team members.
  • Technical & Market Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP software (preferably JDE), market trends, suppliers, and cost drivers, along with project management and continuous improvement knowledge.
