Your new company:

You will be joining a growing shared services centre (SSC) which provides support to their Asia Pacific business. This SSC is part of a well-established multinational company. Your workplace is located in Kuala Lumpur.

Your new role:

You will utilise your Korean/Japanese language proficiency to spearhead your company's Korea/Japan and other APAC markets' purchasing and logistics matters. For example, you will


  • Oversee procurement operations and the fulfilment of regular reporting
  • Facilitate communication amongst stakeholders, e.g. procurement team and buyers
  • Escalate operational issues to higher management
  • Monitor purchasing requests and activities
  • Guide team members, ensuring team's KPI achievement & compliance with service-level agreements and policies.
  • Ensure correct purchasing workflow, and execute any non-standard procedures
  • Contribute to risk control and process improvement


What you'll need to succeed:

  • Business-level Korean/Japanese proficiency
  • Business-level English proficiency
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally with experience leading/guiding juniors
  • Minimum diploma-level education
  • Advantage: Adept in SAP
  • Strong work ethics and communication skills
