The ideal candidate will drive supplier relationship management, financial oversight, and risk mitigation for Gentari’s renewable energy projects through building strong partnerships, drive cost-effective sourcing, and champion sustainability initiatives, ensuring our supply chain is both reliable and sustainable.

Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)

  • Identify, evaluate and establish relationships with key suppliers to ensure high performance and continuous improvement;
  • Negotiate favorable terms and foster long-term partnerships to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain;
  • Implement SRM strategies to enhance supplier collaboration, innovation, and value delivery.
  • Ensure contracts and agreements are favorable across Gentari;
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.

Financial Management

  • Ensuring cost-effective sourcing without compromising quality through adherence to financial targets;
  • Analyze market dynamics and cost structures to identify cost-saving opportunities;
  • Provide visibility to stakeholders on procurement performance, including cost savings and sustainability impacts.

Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with renewable energy procurement, including supply chain disruptions and regulatory changes;
  • Implement risk management strategies to ensure continuity of supply.

Innovation and Sustainability

  • Drive initiatives that promote sustainability and align with the company’s environmental goals;
  • Source from eco-friendly suppliers and adopt new technologies to enhance sustainability of procurement practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Renewable Energy or a related field;
  • At least 10 years of proven experience in renewable energy procurement, with strong understanding of market dynamics, cost structures, and regulatory environments in the renewable energy sector;
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage risks and drive sustainability initiatives
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing business needs;
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools;
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in procurement and inventory management.
