Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the risk management framework (ERM), policies, and procedures to safeguard the organization's interests.
  • Conduct risk assessments and analysis to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities across business operations.
  • Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies and ensure proper controls are in place.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to integrate risk management practices into operational and strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards i.e. Companies Act, MACC Amendment Act 2018, Malaysian Code of Corporate Governance, ISO31000 and other relevant ISOs or standards.
  • Prepare and present risk reports and findings to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Facilitate risk awareness programs to promote a strong risk culture within the organization.
  • Assist in internal and external audits related to risk management functions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Internal Audit Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
