Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test innovative recipes that align with current food trends and customer preferences.
- Standardize existing recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation across locations.
- Collaborate with kitchen teams to implement and train on recipe SOPs.
- Conduct market research on emerging culinary trends and competitor offerings.
- Monitor and improve food quality, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Work closely with suppliers to source high-quality and cost-effective ingredients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Research and Development Staff / Cook / Chef, Menu Developer, or a similar role in the F&B industry.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food science, and menu development.
- Ability to document recipes with precise measurements and instructions.
- Creative mindset with a passion for exploring new flavors and concepts.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Preferably Tamil-speaking, as the majority of the kitchen staff are Tamil-speaking. This will help ensure smoother communication and more efficient operations.
