Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Electronics Technician with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of computer and electronic hardware components. The ideal candidate should possess chip-level repair skills and hands-on experience with laptops, graphic cards (GPUs), monitors, power supply units (PSUs), and CCTV systems.

You will be responsible for component-level diagnostics, repairing complex faults, and supporting CCTV system setup and troubleshooting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with electronics, takes pride in precision repair, and has experience across multiple hardware categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair laptop motherboard issues including BIOS chips, power ICs, and PCB faults
  • Perform chip-level repairs on graphic cards (GPU), including VRAM, MOSFETs, and power phases
  • Troubleshoot and repair monitors, including power circuit and backlight issues
  • Test and repair power supply units (PSUs), replacing defective internal components
  • Perform CCTV camera and DVR/NVR installation, wiring, setup, and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CCTV system issues, including power, signal, and network connectivity
  • Use tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power testers, hot air stations, and soldering equipment
  • Read and interpret circuit schematics and board layouts for precise diagnostics
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and installation work
  • Support junior technicians and assist in training sessions when needed

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience with laptop motherboard repair, BIOS/firmware flashing, and power diagnostics
  • Strong skills in chip-level repair for graphic cards, monitors, and PSUs
  • Hands-on experience in CCTV installation, including camera mounting, cabling, DVR/NVR setup, and remote access configuration
  • Proficiency in using electronic diagnostic tools such as multimeters, soldering stations, microscopes, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand electronic schematics and board layouts
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Diploma/Certificate in Electronics Engineering, Computer Hardware, or a related field (preferred)
  • Knowledge of basic networking is an added advantage (for CCTV configuration)

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
