Business Analytics Manager
The Manager, Business Analytics is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights to drive business performance, optimize decision-making, and support strategic initiatives. This role involves analysing key business metrics, identifying trends, and providing data-driven recommendations to improve financial outcomes, operational efficiency, and overall business growth. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data utilization, develop predictive models, and ensure accurate reporting for effective business planning.
Job scope includes:
- Oversee data analysis and business intelligence functions to provide actionable insights.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting with data-driven recommendations.
- Design and implement performance tracking metrics to monitor business effectiveness.
- Work closely with finance, operations, commercial, and IT teams to enhance data utilization.

Data Management & Reporting
- Design, automate, and maintain dashboards and reports for senior management.
- Utilize business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) to extract and visualize data.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of business data across systems.
Business Strategy & Decision Support
- Provide insights into market trends, customer behavior, and competitive analysis.
- Develop business cases for strategic initiatives, investments, and process improvements.
- Identify risks and opportunities through in-depth data analysis.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with finance, operations, sales, and IT teams to align analytics with business goals.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and actionable format.
- Guide and mentor team members on data analytics best practices.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CIMA) is an advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business analytics, financial analysis, or data-driven decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics platforms.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
