  • Responsible for managing operations-related processes across the entire lifecycle of equities, derivatives, and unit trust trades
  • Liaise with business units and senior management to align with expectations
  • Act as a point of contact with regulatory bodies (e.g., SC, BURSA, and share registrars)

  • Maintain and update operational procedures and control processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in operations within the stockbroking industry, custodian services, or financial institutions
  • In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian capital market, Bursa Malaysia clearing & settlement, and CDS processes. Experience with US markets is a plus
  • Strong understanding of corporate actions, dividends, distributions, and settlement procedures
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with a good command of written and spoken English. Knowledge of Chinese is an advantage
  • Holding the Securities Commission (SC) Malaysia's "Capital Markets Services Representative's License" (CMSRL) or other relevant industry certifications is preferred
  • Independent, self-motivated, and quick-learning team player with strong time management skills. Able to work well under pressure, meticulous, and detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Passionate and constantly seeking improvement in work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
