Job Purpose
To assist in credit control for Menara Great Eastern, Great Eastern Mall (“MGE/GEM”) and Seri Hening Residence (SHR).
The Job
- To monitor debtors account to ensure tenants paying rental on time.
- To prepare soft copies of statement of accounts to tenants upon request.
- Regular monitoring of collection/payments due and closely follow-up with tenants on outstanding rental arrears, late payment interest, electricity payment, etc.
- To resolve all collection issues and reporting any difficulties to manager.
- To assist in negotiation on the rental arrears’ repayment plans.
- Timely follow-up with Finance and solicitors on legal cases to recover rental arrears and bad debts.
- To liaise with Finance on Debtors Aging Listing (monthly credit control meeting) and to provide remarks on Debtors Aging.
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practice.
- Other responsibilities entailed.
Our Requirements
- Diploma in Accounts / Business Administration.
- At least 3 years experience in credit control in the Property Management/Real Estate Management.
- Good command of read, written and spoken of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Sound knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and IFCA System.
- Problem solving, teamwork, cost conscious, concern for order, sense of urgency and customer service.
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
