Job description: JOB PURPOSE

Handling tax compliance related matters of group entities including preparing and filing tax returns, estimated chargeable income, withholding tax returns, verifying notices of assessments, etc Attending to and drafting appropriate responses to queries raised by the tax authorities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Prepare tax computations for group statutory report and tax filing. 2. Review tax provisions and disclosures in the Financial statements. 3. Attend to tax audit and tax appeals. 4. Liaise with tax authorities on the tax estimate instalment scheme/set off of tax credit/refunds/appeals. 5. Liaise with accountants and tax agents for information required for statutory tax compliance. 6. Coordinate with tax agent for timely review of tax computations and submission of tax returns. QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Accountancy or any professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, MACPA, etc.)
  • Registered with Professional Bodies is an advantage i.e. CTIM, MIA, ACCA, etc.
  • Professional certificate in Accountancy/Taxation/degree
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Minimum of five (5) years working experience in a group taxation role, preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry.
