Job Description

In your new role you will:

  • Establish incoming quality inspection plan to ensure effective detection of material defects. Regular review of quality inspection plan for its effectiveness and relevancy. Disposition of incoming material due to supplier quality issue.
  • Work with suppliers on fast and effective containment actions, resolves quality issues and implement corrective and preventive measures using 8D approach. Accountable for Supplier Corrective Action Report (SCAR) issuance and follow-up until 8D closure.
  • Drive suppliers for continuous improvement through structured quality improvement program (QIP).
  • Conduct supplier quality audits and assessment at defined frequencies to ensure supplier’s QMS is meeting Infineon requirement and its compliancy. Perform on-site verification on improvement action implementation and its effectiveness.
  • Responsible for new supplier phase in assessment and qualification through first article inspection and audit. Support engineering sample buy-off in the event of safe launch, supplier PCN and change management.
  • Collaborate and work with cross functional teams to develop leading indicators and implement process improvements to ensure production stability.
  • Sustain 2nd party audit competency. Drive clarity for roles and responsibility and meet agreed objectives.
  • Collaboration with Procurement for supplier escalation of material quality issues.
  • Support certification and customer audit, achieve zero major/critical findings.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Degree holder in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Applied Science with major in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science.
  • Preferred with minimum of 6 year of experience in semiconductor manufacturing with minimum of 4 years of experience on Supplier Quality Management and has knowledge and experience in ISO9001:2015, IATF16949:2016 and VDA6.3.
  • Experience in semiconductor industry will be an added advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of supplier's process, equipment and material
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and ensure quality compliance with departmental quality big picture.
