Job Description

In your new role you will:

  • Engaging subcontractors with regards to forecasting, demand commitment, securing capacity and material liability.
  • Cascade planning deliverables to subcontractors located globally to meet Infineon’s Customer demand.
  • Drive commitment of customer demand in alignment globally with Business Divisions Supply Chain Product Line planners / managers located at IFAM, IFAP, IFAG, IFAT.
  • Support enabling of new subcon sites according to IFX supply chain process and requirement.
  • Ensure implementation of approved strategic plan as well as in alignment with all internal stakeholders (Biz Div, BE OPC, PUR, SCM, CSC, etc.).
  • Accountable for accurate and timely update of capacity commit to customer demand plan in Production Program (PP) horizon, i.e. in the next 26 weeks.
  • Drive demand split between subcontractors considering contractual agreement and suppliers’ relationship.
  • Manages SiFO demand plan for subcontractors with bump and sort content in OSAT subcontractors.
  • Responsible for material liability management at subcontractors affecting segment cost position.
  • Support implementation of planning process optimization in 2 aspects: alignment with BE OPC and engagement with subcontractors.
  • Undertake cross-functional projects to meet Plan-to-Make (P2M) vision/targets.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

Training / qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate technical course ie Industrial, Chemical Engineering, Math, Material Science, Electronics and Communication Eng’g
  • Cross functional role, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Effective writing and communication skills and able to interact with all levels
  • Good interpersonal skills in dealing with different international companies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software such as Word, Excel & Power Point.

Job experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience working in the semiconductor industry with adequate exposure in process and/or business planning as well as other areas like operations
  • Systemic approach and 8D management compulsory.
  • Knowledge of assembly and Test operations, Logistics and Materials Planning
  • Analytical, excellent planning and delivery skills

Extent of technical knowledge in own area:

  • Good knowledge and management of planning process
  • Good understanding of supply chain related applications, systems and tools
  • Good understanding of factory physics and its impact to supply chain KPIs.
  • Able to rationalize and provide alternative solutions and decision making skills
  • Good team player and able to influence in implementing procedures within subcontractors.
