The Day-to-day Activities

  • Oversee AML and Fraud Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive AML and Fraud regional strategy across the various countries that we have a footprint, ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead AML and Fraud Product Development: Conceptualize, design, and launch innovative AML and Fraud products and solutions to mitigate risks and enhance customer experience, while ensuring that the platform is built with the view of build once, avail it everywhere.
  • Manage Product Lifecycle: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to retirement, including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with technology, product and design, operations, compliance, and risk teams to ensure seamless integration and effective risk management.
  • Monitor and Mitigate Risks: Continuously monitor emerging threats and trends in AML and Fraud, and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Drive Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure adherence to AML/CFT regulations across all jurisdictions.
  • Enhance Customer Experience: Balance risk mitigation with customer convenience, optimizing processes and technologies to minimize friction.
  • Leverage Data and Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, optimize decision-making, and improve the effectiveness of AML and Fraud controls.
  • Foster Innovation: Encourage a culture of innovation and explore emerging technologies among your team mates to stay ahead of evolving threats.

The Must Haves

  • Deep AML/CFT Expertise: Proven track record in AML/CFT, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Product Management Experience: 7-10+ years of experience as a product manager in a financial services or technology company.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, drive initiatives, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify trends, assess risks, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven ability to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Regulatory Acumen: Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and the ability to navigate a complex regulatory landscape.
  • Risk Management: Strong risk management skills, including the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
  • People Management: Having effectively managed a team or junior to senior product managers
  • Time Management: Being able to demonstrate that you can effectively manage a sizeable portfolio, while ensuring that you have adequate time for your team and stakeholders
