Senior Performance Marketing Specialist (Media Buy)
Salary Range: RM6,000-RM8,000
Job Description:
The role sits within the paid ads team servicing diverse brands across local and overseas regions.
You are responsible for managing and optimizing paid ads campaigns to achieve specific performance-based objectives, such as driving traffic, increasing conversions, and maximizing ROI.
You also have to oversee advanced aspects of performance marketing, mentor junior team members in driving project success.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Strategize and execute effective paid ads campaigns across various platforms like PPC, display, social media and programmatic.
- Continuously optimize and improve campaign performance by adjusting budget, conducting A/B test and refining targeting to maximize the results.
- Prepare detailed performance reports on key metrics (KPIs), interpret data insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Track and manage ads spending, ensuring campaigns are executed within the allocated budget.
- Collaborate with Marketing Strategist team to plan and strategize media plans to meet revenue and performance goals.
- Work closely with the Creative team to produce quality and compelling ads materials.
- Create ads copies in different languages tailored for diverse target audiences.
- Study products to propose effective strategies aligned with project objectives.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies in digital marketing.
- Experiment with new platforms and channels.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in managing paid social media advertising portals, especially META.
- Strong understanding of advertising and marketing principles, particularly for online audiences.
- Expertise in market research, conceiving, testing, and optimizing ads.
- Experience in black hat technologies or knowledge is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with reporting and tracking tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio.
- Strong attention to details and problem solving to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent sense of data and numbers.
- Able to work and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excited to work with the evolving and fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
