Job Description: Application Tester

We are seeking a skilled Application Tester with expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, ensuring high-quality application performance and functionality. Experience in the banking domain will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts.

Perform end-to-end testing to ensure application functionality, performance, and reliability.

Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to understand application requirements and testing needs.

Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard tools.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and security protocols.

Provide detailed reports on test progress, results, and defect analysis.

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).

Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent.

Strong understanding of manual testing techniques, including functional, integration, regression, and UAT.

Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent).

Solid knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Banking domain experience is highly desirable.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM8,500.00 - RM9,500.00 per month
