Job Purpose:

This key role supports and contributes to a professional and specialized counseling service for students while also managing student affairs, engagement, and welfare. The position ensures students receive the necessary guidance and support for both personal and academic success in a supportive university environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized support services to students, fostering their personal, academic, and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement programs to enhance student engagement, leadership, and campus involvement.
  • Organize student activities, clubs, and societies to promote a vibrant and inclusive student community.
  • Plan and conduct student orientation programs to support new students’ transition into university life.
  • Address student concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Act as a liaison between students, faculty, and university administration to ensure student needs are met.
  • Assist international students with integration, support services, and cultural adaptation.
  • Coordinate student welfare initiatives, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage student events, workshops, and leadership programs to foster personal and professional growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of student engagement, complaints, and support services provided.
  • Ensure compliance with university policies and guidelines related to student affairs and well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must possess a Registered Counsellor Certificate and a valid "Perakuan Amalan Dwitahunan" from the relevant governing body.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in student affairs, student support, or counseling services.
  • Strong knowledge of student engagement strategies, mental health support, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with students and stakeholders.
  • Experience in event planning, student development programs, and leadership training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
