Service Technician (KL / Penang / Johor / Sabah / Sarawak)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment or systems
at customer sites.
- Identify issues through diagnostic tests, provide accurate solutions, and repair or replace
defective parts.
- Communicate with customers to explain issues, repairs, and maintenance procedures in
a clear and professional manner.
- Ensure all repairs are performed in accordance with safety standards and company
policies.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and hours worked.
- Provide on-site customer support and act as a point of contact for technical issues.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and to resolve any outstanding
concerns.
- Keep up to date with new product offerings, industry trends, and technological
advancements.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and work regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and teams to ensure high-quality service
delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or an associate’s degree in a
relevant field (e.g., electrical, mechanical) preferred.
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites as required.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in the industry.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
- Ability to lift and carry tools or equipment weighing up.
- Ability to work in various environments (e.g., indoors, outdoors, high places, etc.).
- Ability to stand, kneel, or bend for extended periods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
