Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Lead the end-to-end hiring process, from crafting job descriptions and posting openings to screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
- Develop proactive talent pipelines to reduce hiring time and secure top candidates before positions open.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify current and future hiring needs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Utilize recruitment marketing strategies to enhance employer branding and attract high-quality candidates.
- Partner with universities and professional organizations to expand the talent pool through internships, job fairs, and networking events.
Employee Support & Workplace Relations:
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees seeking guidance on workplace concerns, policies, and procedures.
- Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions that support a positive and productive work environment.
- Promote an open-door culture to encourage employee feedback and engagement.
Performance Management & Development:
- Oversee employee performance review cycles, ensuring a structured evaluation process that fosters growth.
- Work with leadership to create employee development plans, training programs, and career progression opportunities.
- Assist supervisors in managing underperforming employees by implementing structured Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and offering support throughout the process.
Termination & Offboarding:
- Manage the employee termination process with fairness and compliance, ensuring all steps align with legal requirements and company policies.
- Conduct exit interviews to gather insights for improving retention and workplace culture.
- Facilitate smooth knowledge transfer and transitions when employees leave.
HR Policies & Legal Compliance:
- Ensure all HR policies adhere to local labor laws and industry regulations.
- Regularly update and communicate policies to employees to maintain compliance and clarity.
- Provide training on workplace ethics, anti-discrimination, and other compliance-related topics.
Compensation & Benefits Administration:
- Oversee salary structures to maintain market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance and other perks, ensuring accessibility and understanding.
- Research and recommend improvements to compensation packages to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
Employee Engagement & Retention Strategies:
- Design initiatives to enhance employee wellbeing, motivation, and productivity.
- Organize team-building activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives to create a positive workplace culture.
- Monitor employee satisfaction through surveys and implement strategies based on feedback.
