Operations Manager
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Assist the club manager in ensuring that the club operates smoothly. This function includes aiding with administrative chores, coordinating between departments, and upholding high service standards. Helps with operational planning, staff management, and financial reporting to ensure that all areas of the club run smoothly. Promotes and fosters customer relationships by improving the quality of the golf experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Help to prepare and monitor budgets, revenue reports, and expense tracking.
· Support the Club Manager in policy implementation, operational planning, and service quality improvements.
· Handle administrative tasks, including documentation, correspondence, and compliance tracking.
· Ensure that club policies and safety regulations are followed.
· Overseeing departments includes Golf Operation, Golf Shop, Sales and Marketing, Food and Beverage, Clubhouse Maintenance, Housekeeping, Security, and Quality Control departments.
· Provide support to department heads in addressing operational challenges.
· Support department heads in ensuring smooth workflows, service quality, and compliance with club policies.
· Assists in the development and day-to-day tracking of the budget and business plan. Helps to control expenses in relation to revenues.
· Creates a customer service-orientated atmosphere that promotes the game of golf and meets the needs of the members. Ensures that associates provide a high level of customer service.
· Works closely with the course superintendent on a daily basis to ensure timely communication and to establish a good working relationship.
· Provides leadership and vision to staff, building people, and preparing them for career advancement.
· Assisting the club manager with interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding; disciplining associates; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
· Monitors business volume forecasts and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs, and other expenses.
· Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.
· Communicates any changes or new policies and procedures to the department.
· Conducts staff meetings with subordinates.
· Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Club Manager.
· Attends staff meetings.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
