Position: Regional HR Manager
Location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur
Salary: Up to RM10,000
Working Days: Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Serve as the primary HR lead for all regional offices.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Develop, standardize, and implement HR policies and procedures regionally.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee end-to-end HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, offboarding, and exits.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate salary processing, including overtime and statutory contributions.
  • Manage employee benefits programs and review them regularly for market competitiveness.

Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Handle employee relations issues, grievances, disciplinary actions, and terminations in line with local laws.
  • Plan and execute engagement initiatives, feedback surveys, and team-building activities.
  • Provide HR advisory support to department heads and ensure policy compliance.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate training programs, manage external providers, and ensure compliance with SOPs.
  • Support HR setup and operations in new markets, including recruitment, payroll, benefits, and policy rollout.

Strategic HR & Leadership

  • Contribute to regional and global HR projects that enhance organizational development and process improvements.
  • Escalate major HR concerns to the Regional HR Director as needed.
  • Mentor and guide HR team members; support leadership development initiatives across departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience, including regional exposure.
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws and proactive approach to regulatory updates.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems and HR management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and train HR personnel and business leaders.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels.
  • Experience handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
  • High standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
  • Strong analytical skills to manage complex HR processes effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM10,000.00 per month
