Sales, Marketing & Corporate Communication Manager
Overall Scope: The Manager, Sales and Marketing is a key member of the club's leadership team, responsible for maximizing group rounds, green fee revenue, and event revenues. This includes creating and implementing promotion and sales plans for tournaments, social groups, and events. The role involves developing and implementing the annual sales and marketing plan, managing the sales and marketing team, and reporting on the plan's effectiveness. Additionally, the manager oversees all club communications, marketing, advertising, and strategic partnerships, ensuring the club is marketed locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Produce the annual sales and marketing plan, budgets, and forecasts.
- Develop action plans to achieve KPIs.
- Coordinate methods to maintain and increase business volume, including advertising, sales promotion, publicity, and community relations.
- Work with the Club Manager and Director of Operations on pricing and revenue strategy.
- Create and implement special programs to increase profitability.
- Review marketing and sales personnel activity reports to ensure targets are met.
- Provide advisory support to the Club Manager.
- Liaise with related businesses on recreational events.
- Consult on marketing initiatives and brand compliance.
- Create detailed group golf and event sales budgets.
- Develop and update the annual sales and marketing plan.
- Implement programs to increase and retain events, including SEO, SEM, social media, and direct marketing campaigns.
- Build and maintain an events prospect database.
- Respond to prospect inquiries and sell events.
- Oversee contract development for events.
- Schedule and manage golf event functions.
- Ensure smooth execution of events.
- Promote food and beverage sales through special initiatives.
- Develop business opportunities and strengthen the club's public image.
- Interact with external organizations and community members.
- Build relationships with B2B contacts.
- Attend events to foster relationships and generate referrals.
- Coordinate with outside agencies to drive awareness and new business.
- Oversee club communication channels and content.
- Create sales materials with internal and external resources.
- Review promotion pieces for brand standards.
- Target key markets and recommend adjustments.
- Review public relations activities for media awareness.
- Advise on new product and service development.
- Conduct market research and monitor competitors.
- Maintain communication with marketing personnel and implement corporate initiatives.
- Work with HR on manpower planning and performance reviews.
- Communicate regularly with the sales team on operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
