The Transport Operation Controller (EWHP Shift) is responsible for ensuring smooth execution of transport activities during extended working hours, including evening and night shifts. This role supports the coordination of deliveries, driver dispatches, real-time tracking, and issue resolution to ensure timely operations during off-peak hours.

Working Hours (EWHP – Extended Working Hours Pattern):

  • Shift 1: 12:00 AM – 9:00 PM ( time to confirm )
  • Shift 2: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM ( time to confirm)

(Rotating or fixed based on roster)

Key Responsibilities:1. Delivery & Dispatch Coordination:

  • Plan and monitor trip assignments, vehicle dispatch, and driver allocation during extended shifts.
  • Ensure timely loading and dispatch of trucks from the warehouse.
  • Coordinate with drivers and warehouse teams for smooth operations.

2. Real-Time Tracking & Communication:

  • Track vehicle locations using GPS or Transport Management System (TMS).
  • Communicate actively with drivers to monitor delivery progress, handle delays, and provide support.
  • Ensure timely updates to the team for any issues during the shift.

3. Shift Handover & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate shift records including delivery status, pending issues, and vehicle availability.
  • Prepare clear handover reports for the next shift and escalate unresolved matters.

4. Compliance & Documentation:

  • Verify and collect PODs (Proof of Delivery) upon driver return.
  • Ensure all delivery and transport documentation is updated in the system.
  • Enforce compliance with safety protocols, SOPs, and road regulations.

5. Issue Resolution:

  • Act as the main contact point for last-minute delivery changes, delays, or emergencies.
  • Resolve issues promptly and communicate with customers or internal teams when required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in transport coordination, preferably with shift or night operations.
  • Familiarity with transport systems, GPS tracking, and delivery planning tools.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to work EWHP shifts (including weekends or public holidays).
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours.
  • Good command of Excel and transport software (e.g., TMS/WMS).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
