EXECUTIVE (PROJECT DELIVERY)

Main responsibilities:
Assist the State Manager in managing, monitoring and ensuring that all projects undertaken by PAAB State are completed within the stipulated time and in accordance with the design intent, project specifications and construction drawings before handing over to the service licensee and supervise PAAB’s supply contract.

Tasks:
1. Review overall interfacing works with C&S and M&E.
2. Review and update submissions for authority approval.
3. Monitor weekly/monthly progress reports, including overseeing the overall Master Implementation Program (MIP) and project cash flow.
4. Review and verify (if required) the progress claims and variation works submitted by the implementing agent, consultant and contractor.
5. Assist the implementing agent, consultants and contractors in complying with authority matters and requirements.
6. Review testing procedures and monitor commissioning works.
7. Attend meetings when required and report to the State Manager on the status.
8. Perform any other related tasks as directed by the superior and Management.
9. Compile weekly/monthly schedules and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.
10. Check the quality of workmanship and materials and ensure compliance with specifications.
11. Attend site meetings with the implementing agent, consultant and contractor as requested by the superior.
12. Ensure activities on all projects are in accordance with the law, regulations and codes.
13. Monitor and supervise pipe supply under PAAB’s supply contract.
14. Submit relevant reports to the superior.
15. Perform other tasks as instructed from time to time by Management and/or the immediate superior.

Requirements:
 Recognized Degree in Engineering or its equivalent;
 At least 3 years of experience in Water Treatment Plant/Water Supply.
 Proficiency in the use of MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint;
 Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia is required;
 Excellent report writing, presentation and public speaking skills are essential;
 The candidate should possess good leadership attributes and be energetic;
 Being self-motivated, analytical, resourceful and having strong integrity are important qualities; and
 A good working attitude and willingness to travel are expected.
