Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Electrical & Electronics Support Engineer to join our R&D team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with electronics engineers to design, test, and troubleshoot battery-operated power systems and control systems for warehouse robotics and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the R&D team to understand technical requirements and hardware limitations in electrical & electronics design.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical circuits and electronic components for AGV/robotic systems.
  • Utilize circuit simulation tools to design and validate conceptual circuit designs (a plus).
  • Perform testing, debugging, and repair of PCBAs for hardware systems.
  • Understand and validate isolated and non-isolated power systems & control signal isolation circuits.
  • Use laboratory test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, function generators, digital power supplies, and load testers to analyze and validate systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical wiring, wire harnesses, and PCBAs, providing effective rework solutions.
  • Understand electrical wiring diagrams and circuit schematics, demonstrating strong component knowledge.
  • Perform precise soldering and de-soldering of components for prototype development and R&D production PCBAs.
  • (Bonus) Integrate and test hardware circuit prototypes with MATLAB/Arduino to capture test data and generate reports.
  • (Bonus) Validate designed circuits using embedded platforms for analytics and hardware performance testing.
  • Plan and conduct hardware design qualification testing to validate functionality and performance.
  • Work cross-functionally with software engineers, embedded system developers, production, and test engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and sourcing teams to manage BOMs (Bill of Materials), component sourcing, and in-house assembly.
  • (Bonus) Review and approve electrical wiring schematics & wire harness designs for robotic hardware.
  • Assist in optimizing hardware design by considering cost-effective sourcing of electrical & electronic components.
