KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Environment, Safety & Health Officer/Executive a) To carry out and coordinate all safety plans for all related safety and health activities within the company. E: Complete collecting data for the monthly report, becoming OSH Committee, responsible in accident & incident reporting. (including report for MyKKP if needed) b) To identify work place hazards & carry out workplace safety audit & inspections. E: To advise proper measure for Safety & Health at all workplace in the company. c) Keeping record of SDS/MSDS for all chemicals used within the company as well as maintaining and updating the plant's safety, health & environment manual. E: Data collection of SDS/MSDS and update accordingly. d) Liaises with DOE, DOSH, BOMBA and the relevant government authorities. E: To carry out applications,record and follow up on the relevant authority and monthly reporting including renewal of PMA, PMT, PMD, licensing and etc. (MyKKP matters) e) To continuously educate and create safety and health awareness to all employees. E: Coordinating trainings and involve all employees also effectively via various method & channel of communication mode. (Environmental, Safety Briefing & Training) f) Reporting on safety observations, assessments with superior and proper solutions. E: To prevent accidents, repeating occurrence of industrial accidents or incidents in the future. g) Reviewing staff competency in handling manufacturing processes such as machine, equipment, forklifts & etc. E: Identify potential staff for trainings, gain competency as well as coordinating in-house trainings. h) Distributing appropriate PPE for the workers in the manufacturing process. E: Help distribute and have proper record on PPE Issuance to the workers & PPE trainings. j) Ensure workplace is safe and tidy (5S Activities). E: To carry out inspections at the workplace after 5S and make sure done properly. k) To ensure all Fire Facilities are adequate, in good condition & on-time renewal. E: To liaise with fire service supplier on renewal of certificate or servicing fire facilities. l) Attend any suppliers regarding factory Maintenance, Environment and Safety & Health matters. E: To make sure all services provided by the suppliers is adequate & proper record. m) Incharged of documentation, presentation slides, and environmental reports. E: To prepare proper reports, slides or minutes of meetings with advice from the ESH Executive. n) Follow up regarding any EQA issues or any DOE related issues. E: To remind & update on the information regarding any environmental issue in the factory. o) Any other job as per requirement in DoE related Act or assigned by the Management. p) Any other job as per requirement in OSHA 1994, FMA or assigned by the Management. Workers Hostel Cleanliness & Periodic 5S Inspection (Including Contractors) a) Maintain hostel cleanliness by doing periodic hostel 5S inspections & highlight any issue to HR. b) Sending workers to clinic for any emergency or incident happens. c) Ensure all contractors who visited the factory comply with HRB Rules & Regulations (5S). d) To inspect all workplaces & observe all work processes according to SOP & WI set by the company. General Waste & Scheduled Waste Management a) Coordinator for Scheduled Waste activity including work instructions, waste record & waste disposal arrangement in the factory. b) Identify, classify & categorize Scheduled Waste. Also to make arrangement and implement sound and effective scheduled waste management practices (eSWIS). c) Coordinator for General Waste activity including work instructions, waste record & waste disposal arrangement in the factory. (Currently BCT@Titan Waste)
