Resident Engineer C&S (Road Construction-Tawau)

We Are Hiring: Resident Engineer (Civil) for Roadwork Project at Sebatik, Tawau Key responsible: -Supervise and monitor civil works on-site to ensure they are being executed in accordance with the approved design, technical specifications, and local regulations. -Conduct site inspections and audits to verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and compliance with project standards. -Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that construction works meet the required standards. -Enforce strict adherence to safety policies and procedures in compliance with local safety regulations. -Coordinate with the Project Manager to resolve issues related to design changes, schedule adjustments, and other project requirements. -Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to the Project Manager, highlighting key issues and achievements. -Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, ensuring the proper implementation of engineering practices and construction methodologies. -Review shop drawings, construction submittals, and material approvals from the contractor. -Ensure accurate record-keeping of site activities, reports, and inspections. -Maintain an up-to-date project log for site activities, work progress, and any issues encountered. Requirements : -Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent. -Registered as Professional Engineer with BEM. -15 years experiences in construction supervision of large scale infrastructure project such as road and bridge construction, highway, sewerage, drainage etc. -Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills. -Required to stay on site at Sebatik, Tawau.
