Staff Nurse Rehabilitation

1. Undertake comprehensive health care needs assessment of patients. 2. Demonstrate experience of leadership, management & multi-disciplinary team working. 3. Have interpersonal skills & demonstrable ability to handle complex communications. 4. Have a key role in training, education & staff development, actively participate in regular supervision/appraisals contributing to clinical leadership facilitating a culture of learning/reflective practice. 5. Have ability to inspire people & able to motivate/support others. 6. Contribute actively to the rehabilitation process working alongside therapy colleagues. 7. Provide high standards of nursing care as defined by the patients care plan, reviewing & updating when care needs change & evidence this. 8. Have the ability to communicate effectively, with sensitivity & compassion & manage relationships with people. 9. Create a good network of cooperation with stakeholders such as employers of SOCSO patients, SOCSO Case managers, Rehab Consultants, therapists, families and so on to ensure that the intervention plan can achieve both personal and functional goals. 10. Ensure compliance with clinical governance frameworks. 11. Line management responsibility of staff. 12. To provide and maintain a high quality of individualised patient and carer support by effectively coordinating all available resources, identifying shortfalls and contributing in their solution. 13. To provide support to the Rehabilitation Manager in the area of clinical leadership and nursing and care staff. 14. To assist with improving and maintaining services to people with a Neurological diagnosis by providing advice and information. 15. To participate in the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of all programme of care using identified care pathways and in line with SOCSO RTW Programme.
